Saturday, September 24th - Friday, October 2nd
CANSTRUCTION®, a charitable foundation of the Society for Design Administration promoting annual design/
build competitions and exhibitions to benefit hunger relief organizations, will be the kick-off event on September
24th that brings together Tucson architecture and engineering offices to design and build sculptural installations
using only canned food. The creative sculptures will be on display Park Place Mall
during the week from September 24th - October 2nd. On Friday, September 30th, honors will be awarded to the most
creative CANSTRUCTION® in a ceremony at the Park Place Mall (Center Court). At the completion of Architecture Week, the
creations will be dismantled and all canned foods donated to the Tucson Community Food Bank.
